THE WORLD'S MOST FAMOUS STEAM TRAIN

The Flying Scotsman was the first Steam Train in the world to record a speed of 100mph in 1934. This was achieved on the journey from King's Cross, London to Edinburgh. At the time this was longest non-stop journey in the World.
