  1. As you follow the South West coast path down to Peveril point from Durlston in Swanage, you pass through a cluster of trees. Emerging the other side you are confronted with a spectacular view of Swanage Bay, the Pier with Ballard Down and Old Harry Rocks in the distance.

This client referred to view as the 'WOW GAP' and it was shared with all their visitors. I was commissioned to produce an illustration for them which now hangs over their fireplace.

  2. A friend asked me to design and illustrate the cover for his latest self-published semi-fictional novel. One requirement was to have it reflect the era the story is set in, which is the twenties and thirties, the height of Art Deco. It was great fun to research the graphic and illustrative style of the period and I hope the design does it justice.

This is a short description of the book:

'Lilian' is a fairy tale, based around the true story of a young English girl who unwittingly emigrates to Germany with her parents, in 1914. Eventually becoming the darling of the film world in the twenties and thirties, only to be persecuted by the Gestapo before and during the Second World War.
